Questions from employers
Is there a minimum number of workers?
Volume pricing on online courses starts at 2 seats. On-site training is for groups of 3 or more. For one or two people, our classes in Burnaby are usually the best fit.
How do I give courses to my workers?
Buy seats with a business account, then assign courses to your workers from your dashboard. They get an email to start, and you can see their progress and certificates in one place.
Can you train at our site?
Yes. Our instructor comes to your workplace and trains your crew on your own equipment. We regularly train across Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Sea-to-Sky and Vancouver Island.
Can we get funding?
Eligible B.C. employers can be reimbursed 80% of approved training costs through the B.C. Employer Training Grant (up to $10,000 per participant and $300,000 per employer each fiscal year). You apply to WorkBC yourself, before training starts, and WorkBC decides eligibility. We give you the quote and course outline. How the grant works.
Will we know when certificates are about to expire?
Yes. Your dashboard shows every worker’s expiry date, and reminders go out 60, 30 and 7 days before a certificate expires, so nobody falls out of date.
Do bundles get the volume discount too?
Bundles already save about 27% off the course total. Bundle seats are priced per seat, so the saving applies to every worker. Volume pricing applies to single online courses.
Can we put your courses in our own LMS?
Yes. We license our online courses as SCORM packages for your company’s learning system.
